Labradorite Pendantby ~oasiaris

Everyone loves labradorite, right? It's definitely one of my favorite stones. And this one is especially gorgeous, with the golden flash and the little bit of blue at the top.

I wrapped it in copper wire, as you can see. For the first time I flattened some of my wire. For that I used the tip in ~IMNIUM's journal: you don't need an anvil, just hammer on top of another tool. She suggested another hammer, I used some heavy duty pliers. It worked. (The journal is also in my favorites, under 'awesome tutorials' if you're looking for it.)

On the right the flat wire crosses beneath the two wires next to it and up again. I think it gives a more organic, natural look to it.
Oh and did I mention that it's huge? 6.7 cm high, or 2.6 inches.
